Merrigan is a fraud, misleading and dishonest about who have contributed to her artistic activities.
In a year from July 2019 to June 2020, I've provided her with more support than all her Patreon earnings for the last two years. She's accepted my payments, thanked for them, and admitted their significance. However, my contribution was not acknowledged by her.
On Patreon, three times she's charged me for my name in the credits of music videos she did not deliver, and one time she's advertised a “sponsorship” by jewellery company in a music video paid for by me (mostly) and other patrons, not by the jewellery company.
Paraphrasing the Bard: one may ❤, and ❤, and be a forger; at least I'm sure it may be so in Åland.
Here are details regarding Merrigan being misleading and dishonest about who have contributed to her artistic activities:
- On 2019-07-23, she accepted my USD 4000 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
- On 2019-09-01, she charged me USD 40 on Patreon for music video with credit, but delivered neither music video nor credit.
- On 2019-09-04, she accepted my USD 500 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
- On 2019-09-29, she accepted my EUR 442 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
- On 2019-11-01, she charged me USD 700 on Patreon for music video in which she's advertised a “sponsorship” by jewellery company, though that video was paid for by me (mostly) and other patrons, not by the jewellery company.
- On 2019-11-22, she accepted my EUR 500 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
- On 2019-12-04, she accepted my EUR 500 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
- On 2019-12-22, she accepted my EUR 500 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
- On 2020-01-01, she accepted my EUR 500 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
- On 2020-01-15, she accepted my EUR 100 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
- On 2020-01-22, she accepted my EUR 65 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
- On 2020-02-01, she charged me USD 20 on Patreon for music video with credit, but delivered neither music video nor credit.
- On 2020-02-24, she accepted my EUR 240 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
- On 2020-03-01, she charged me USD 20 on Patreon for music video with credit, but delivered neither music video nor credit.
- On 2020-03-31, she accepted my EUR 100 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
- On 2020-05-05, she accepted my EUR 100 contribution, with mutual understanding of making a meaningful difference for her as an artist. She admitted the significance of that contribution, but did not acknowledge it.
Summarizing: from July 2019 to June 2020, Merrigan has accepted my payments of about USD 8850 (or about EUR 8050 by exchange rate at the time), of which about USD 7850 was my direct support, USD 780 were my Patreon pledges, and EUR 204 were my ko-fi donations. My direct support alone was more than all her Patreon earnings for the last two years.
By acknowledging contributions of others, and not acknowledging those of mine, she is misleading and dishonest about who have contributed to her artistic activities.
Regarding her cheating on Patreon, if other patrons are OK with it - that's their business, but it's the cheating nevertheless.
P.S. I recall her angry post elsewhere regarding Yu Phoenix from Cinema Bizarre being dishonest about the significant contribuition by her friend J'lostein.
"...As you can see, only Yu's name is in the song title. Only his picture is on the cover. He has conveniently picked the only part where he sings for the preview. Jamie's name or picture isn't seen anywhere...I am going to raise a shitstorm about this...This sort of behaviour is not acceptable..."
That's what her rants agains me - full of half-truths and confused nonsense - are worth. Slandering me is the only way she can justify her cheating.
